Went to the Hummelstown Art Fest with DH today. One of my favorites, has a real small town feel and most vendors are very local crafts people. The prices are always very fair and there was a lot of buying going on. We got a metal piece for our back garden near our water feature. It looks like a heron or egret type bird. I got some Christmas gifts for DD's and a glass art pendant for a chain I already owned. Real nice overcast day.
Beth-Sounds like business is off to a good start. Why did someone want all the bandanas? Dog grooming business maybe?
Hi to all.

squiggle37, that event sounds amazing! And what a great idea those caps are. I'm sorry it was so uncomfortable there; humidity is my number one nemesis. I feel completely hopeless when the humidity and temps are high😕 Faye, I am about an hour from the city, too! How funny if we were neighbors. We live north, in Putnam County. As far as being sore, my arms are ok, it's my abs and quads that are feeling it most. I think it's bc I have to balance so precariously on my tippy toes to reach the ceiling. I will be very happy NEVER to sand another ceiling, as long as I live! 😄 Well, I did get to watch the events at the Gold Cup! My friend and her daughter joined us, so DD and DS had a pal to help occupy them. We got to see the big jumpers in the Hermès and Fidelity Bank Classics - a nice chunk of change on the line! And actually, former NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg's daughter, Georgina, was the big winner. There were a lot of great riders competing and it was a fun time. My kids got some snazzy face painting done, and a camera man was filming them, so maybe they'll get some air time on tv when they broadcast the event! I'm never sure when those things are telecasted, though... I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!

Good Morning-I see that the last post was dated "week of..." was the decision made to go to a weekly rather than daily board? I went back & read all the posts about this - not sure I understand the reasoning -if I did read it correctly once you participate & go back you will be taken to the last post you read/made? Hope this works well for us -
- we got back late last night -10 days is a long time to be away-missed my animals, my own bed...etc! Picked up Tundra around 8:30 and she was so happy to see us - the cats all stayed by our sides as well-
will head out to see Penny in a bit - it is raining so I guess her holiday will continue! While i was gone she threw a shoe (!) My pasture partner got the farrier in and all is well! Cruise was wonderful - great weather -great snorkeling & swimming-great food & drink (won't even think of getting on a scale for several days!) yesterday was long -we were off the ship & at the airport by 10- but our 1st flight wasn't until 1:30! then 90 min layover in Baltimore then finally home! I will go back to see what all have been up to
-Happy Birthday Cathy-Amy - I think I understood you are looking at an import? Nice -when is he/she due -what breed/age etc? Faye - how have you been feeling? Waving to the rest -CBL- HAGD

Amy - I think I understood you are looking at an import? Nice -when is he/she due -what breed/age etc? Faye - how have you been feeling? Hi Barb! glad you had a great trip! You were missed. I am doing much better, I still miss my Rueben a lot and sometimes his loss suddenly comes to mind but I am overall doing much better. My trainer is importing a 13 yr. old Westphalian gelding. He should fly on Tuesday and arrive to the farm maybe Friday. She imported him with me in mind but she will decide if he is suitable for me to even try him after she rides him a few times. They usually come out of quarantine a looking a little rough and she needs him to settle in before I ride him. I know he is only a chance and not a done deal but it is nice to a possibility on the horizon. I don't always go back to where I left off on the board but I do hit the page number on the listing and go to the last page. I don't know if there is a different way to do it. Welcome back! Amy Amy

Good morning. I'm tired and the day hasn't even started yet LOL. A church near the arena is having a pancake breakfast day this morning so we are having breakfast there before we go to church service at the arena at 9:30. Last night I got slammed with cap orders. I didn't finish them all but the ones I didn't finish are okay with getting them today or later in the week. Beth-Sounds like business is off to a good start. Why did someone want all the bandanas? Dog grooming business maybe? The people are affiliated with a kennel that rescues dogs. I don't always go back to where I left off on the board but I do hit the page number on the listing and go to the last page. I don't know if there is a different way to do it. If you hit the NEW button that is highlighted next to the post it will take you to the first posting right after the last post you read or posted at. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHY!
