Next time you make a mistake, take few moments and answer these three questions: What happened/what was the situation? What were the sabotaging thoughts that got in my way? No Beck Diet Trap for me, but I'll keep posting in the alumni thread My food slip ups are almost always emotionally driven. I will say that yesterday was my first day back in the saddle after three days of doing whatever, and it felt good.

I won't be participating in the Diet Trap round. I have been staying on course with following my meal plans and exercising, but I have been slacking on posting here, although I have been reading everyone's posts. My April goal is to post more frequently.

Here. Read ARC plus a few more cards. Tracking today. Short credit list. It is a start. New day. 😊
I binged the other evening due to intense emotions and some anxiety. The huge credit is that what was once an almost daily behavior happens very infrequently now. Months have passed since last time. I am grateful for that change that has occurred because of years doing BDS on and off.

This year, no Easter baskets, no Cadbury eggs, no mimosas or brunch or hot cross buns. We are having our nephew over for a dinner of grilled salmon, roasted brussels sprouts, mashed cauliflower, one glass of wine.
Maybe I'll make an angel food cake, which Mr. Dig likes and is relatively low in calories. Or maybe not.

WI this morning, down 1.5. I managed to pull myself back up from the pizza abyss of last Friday, and turn things around with the help of the Rescue Pea Soup. I have a piece of salmon baking, so I've got food prep done in case I have a reaction post-shot over the next few days. I decided against cooking up a box of Kraft Deluxe Mac & Cheese as 'sick' food. I'm bringing the Diet Trap book with me, in case I have to wait in line. Got some activity in yesterday, despite the cold. Cold again today, tho sunny. I am really ready for Easter candy to go away, it feels like it came out the day after Valentine's Day to taunt me.

I'll pass on the Diet Trap while I continue to work on the last set of behaviors, especially trying to eat more slowly. My weight is ever so slowly going in the right direction, which is what I want since I'm nominally at goal (though as I lose height I think I need a lower goal - ugh on the aging). Anyway, it's so much better than regaining. Thanks, Mare, and thanks, coach.
Dig, I applaud your healthier Easter. I've been trying to reset holidays for years so they are less about fattening us up and more about seeing people or getting out for a walk together or whatever.

Out of town for errands this weekend so this subject is perfect for me. I will make a written plan this evening and journal as I go.
Made up Easter baskets for young friends and dropped them off. I bought a ridiculous amount of candy but brought in the remainder to work.
disclaimer-I also instinctively bought more because I wanted to have my usual favorites on hand just because...Easter candy. I think I will give them away as well. Good way to practice some of the teachings. As I type this I keep thinking I am missing out, but am I? Not really.
