I have been tolerating hunger; in fact I've been tuned into it. If I don't feel hunger there is no way I am going to lose weight. My focus has been not eating unplanned food; even the mints and hard candy at work. It is the habit...not the food that matters. Today's official WI was down 1#. I was beginning to wonder if I could head "downward" instead of upward. I did not let the success de-rail me...I continued to resist unplanned food today

jonik, Amen. I often counter STs with exactly that thought - feeling hungry means that my body is going looking for fat to burn My biggest 'off plan' eating these days is a snack at 4 pm which is sometimes due to hunger. We eat dinner at 6 so I should be able to withstand hunger till then. But I eat only a little unlike when I snack at night. That night-time snacking is all but gone these days. Drinking herbal tea right before and a bit after dinner has really helped. Mar 29 credits: Exercised Read cards Logged food Used habit tracker Gave myself credit Stuck to plan

Back from cruise with covid, so the only credits I've done lately is take measurements on the cruise, and weigh myself and take measurements since I got back. Oh, I did track yesterday.
I'm up 2.6 lbs. from when I left, as of today.

jonik , I feel the same way about tolerating a bit of hunger. My go-to snack when I really can't wait for my next meal is a nice crunchy carrot, and that's been working for me lately. My snacking is way down, and I'm not eating at all after dinner any more, except for an occasional carrot (maybe once a week). Credits Ate seated and mindfully Exercised Meditated planned meals Did not snack even though I was pretty hungry. Checked in with coach.

Had another good day today. The cookies at work were calling my name; I didn't answer... lani, you caught COVID on the cruise? I sure hope you have a light case. Ugg.

lani, sorry about that! My SO and dad both came down with it about a week after we returned from our trip! We masked the entire time so we are still not sure where SO picked it up. He gave it to my dad - they were sitting next to each other in the front of the car when dad came home with us from my brother's. SO tested positive the next day. Dad's case was very mild - URI only. SO had a worse time but still pretty mild - more like the flu. Mar 30 credits: Exercised - really didn't feel like it but I put my big-girl exercise clothing on and just did it Read cards Logged food Used habit tracker Gave myself credit

Day 10 since first covid symptoms. The head cold stuff has pretty much disappeared; still really tired and spacey, headache getting better. Tested again yesterday, still positive.
Thursday credits:
Weighed - up 0.8 lb. Tracked Did all but one of evening strength & flexibility exercises Ended day 225 calories under usual plan Wrote plan for today
Can't have wine with pizza tonight, boo-hiss, can hinder recovery. We drank all during the cruise because we thought we had colds. Don't know if this exacerbated the covid.
