mare thanks for the tag. I’m still plugging along. I have lost a total of 20.4 pounds since April of 22. I should be much thinner than I am now. I still log everything and have started trying to add more exercise. I am glad I have not gained any but am hoping to see more losses this year. I am also glad I am still logging everyday.

I have been Backing along but not posting. My heart condition has improved with medication and 8 SOLID weeks of dietary restrictions. Proved to me I CAN make immediate and drastic changes when faced with a grim reality... I am so fortunate I had the Beck principles in my head and was able to tap into them. I no longer have to restrict exercise intensity and he liberalized the amount of fluids I can consume.
Besides the improved cardiac function I have also lost 5# since the beginning of summer. I tolerated a LOT of hunger and avoid foods that I once loved "oh well".
I'll keep Beckin'

it looks like it's just back to the two of us! Others come around occasionally. We have a small group over at the WW Proboards where I also participate. I like this GDT thread because knowing I'm going to post credits daily definitely helps the process. You are good about posting even when you're traveling. I never mastered the TapaTalk, so I need access to the desktop. Sunday credits: Weighed - up 1 lb. I am down a few pounds to where I'm lower than need be after surgery so OK with gaining. Hi! I made tabouli salad today. I have stayed OP and tracked today. I had purposeful movement today. It helps immensely knowing you folks and this thread are here as a beacon in the darkness right now! You are inspiration. ((( jonik ))) I'm glad you have made improvements with your lovely heart! It is hard managing physical and/or emotional pain. Baby steps, right? Right now I am just thinking one day, sometimes one meal at a time. Making sure I have my breakfast options always available, so at least my first meal is healthy and a hopefully a positive starting point for my day. And bfast for dinner can be a fine option, if needed.

lani, I post using a browser on my phone or tablet. I do not use Tapatalk. I don’t need another app. I use the browser for a lot of things (Amazon for example) vs an app. I’ve had a couple of very busy days - medical appointments + socializing. A friend passed away 10 days ago and I’ve decided that I’m going to stay more connected to my friends - with in-person contact if I can but if not, at least with text and phone calls. Aug 7 and 8 credits: No exercising - I was quite sore and since I was busy, decided to take a couple of rest days Slept really badly so I’m tired Read cards Logged food Used habit tracker Gave myself credit Back to normal today.

ermabom, sorry for your loss. I am super distressed about the fires in Hawaii. I have been traveling there since the 70s, and Mr. Lani and I honeymooned in Oahu and Maui in 1984. Owned property in West Maui from 2000 to last year. It's just too much. We know many people who live in Lahaina and I don't know if they have homes or places of work any more. Anyway, credits for Tuesday: Weighed - down 0.2 lb. Did about 7 miles walking errands today, at a decent pace. It was quite hot.
OP w 2 out of 3 meals today. I weighed my cheese portion.
I got out my meal planner pad today and listed my options for the new week. Thurs is reset day.
