lani, I had no trouble where I live. The rates are high here also but our population density is lower. I just went to the CVS website and found an appointment - it was almost a week out but I took it. SO is getting his on Friday. But my brother - greater Philly area- said that they don’t have them yet in their county health dept where he goes to get his. I think it is very spotty across the country re: distribution of vaccines.

ermabom, yep, I went to the CVS website and it was a big problem. Our closest in-town pharmacies are only going to stock the Moderna (don't ask me why) and they do not expect shipments for 2 to 3 weeks. Was able to get the Pfizer later than I wanted and farther away. I wanted Oct. 2 due to event on the 5th, but that will be outside so should be OK. I'm cruising on Oct. 22. So should have optimum immunity for that anyway.

Yes, around here, it is all Pfizer at the CVS’s. I read somewhere that the distribution is now up to the companies because the govt isn’t buying the doses and distributing them.

Hi, Tracked everything every day this week. Down 2 lbs on the scale this morning.
Our Congressman sponsored an informational event at one of the neighboring senior centers today. I went and got a lot of good information about local services, a library card, some swag, and flu, Covid, and RSV shots. Yay!
I did also have 2 slices of pretty decent NY style pizza. 🍕🙂 It'd been about 6 weeks since the last time I had it.

bloggy part: I’m doing this 90 day Platinum Flexibility Bootcamp through StretchIt. I’m taking a lot longer than 90 days because it assumes you do it every day and I don’t. But I’m now in the middle part (around day 40) and the sessions are more intense. However, I was very happy the other day because one of the more intense sessions involved getting into a plough pose (I’m doing the Beginner level btw, which is one step up from the bottom which is Absolute Beginner). The last time I did this particular session in a Bendy Back program, I couldn’t get my hips off the ground. This time I was able to get them up and not exactly but close to a shoulder stand without the hand support and hold it there while she went into the plough and held it and then went out of it. So I felt pretty chuffed
My brain can remember being able to gradually lift my hips up and go into a plough and out of it but my body doesn’t remember!

lani, it is so weird. I can visualize my body moving the way it used to - gradually lifting the hips and having them move into a shoulder stand and then a plough. Ditto with bringing my foot up from a downward dog to a lunge. But my body won’t do it. I am very happy with the Stretchit programs. I am able to sit more comfortable cross-legged now although I have a lot of work left to do to get really flexible.

ermabom, getting the mind and body to synch up is constantly changing with age and injuries. In my mind I am decades younger than my body. Which will be 70 in December.

Friday credits: Weighed - down 0.2 lb. Read new posts, posted Exercised Tracked - kind of. Leftover takeout pizza, not sure how many cals, but had to be a lot. Ate sitting, mindfully Meditated - a short one Wrote plan for today OT, I was taken aback about the hate for the women on the Golden Bachelor thread. Jeez, I'm thin and have had plastic surgery. So sorry. At least I will never appear on a reality show. I haven't seen the show yet, maybe they all had bad work done? I like to think mine is not glaringly obvious, but perhaps I'm only fooling myself.
