Still tracking, last time I weighed it was a loss. My scale is at the house and I won’t be there for three weeks. Need to work on ARC’s. I’m still resistant to reading them! Why??? So dumb. Still living the nomadic life.

Happy Saturday all, Yesterday was a mixed bag of good/bad. But, I am noticing the good "No thanks" to the offer of ice cream last night. lani, your DH likes to find you treats, doesn't he? He always finds the goodies!!

I didn't end up exercising yesterday. I had a lot to do because I'm having a few friends over for a picnic potluck today. I hope it will be pleasant enough on the patio or else it will be an inside picnic. Went to bed on time and slept really well after the bad night before. I decided to indulge in an ice cream cone after dinner yesterday and it tasted good. I had been drinking tons of water - to both hydrate and stay cool and eating something cold vs drinking more water was nice.
I'm giving myself a big credit for both logging my food regularly even when the plan went off the deep end and also posting here daily for months. This is part of my accountability to come and post here as well as logging in my diary.

He always finds the goodies!! Too true. He alternates between indulging his sweet tooth and fretting that a bad diet will doom him to dementia. His mom was in care for 9 years with it. He recently read somewhere that ultra-processed foods must be limited to 20% or increases risk. I tell him to chill and do the best he can. Our diet is healthy to the max when we stick to what I prepare. But, oh, those outside treats. He was also stressing over the cold cuts he likes to snack on. The label reads "minimally processed", but who knows if they are honest about that. I spend a lot of time talking him off the ledge vis a vis diet. Friday credits: Weighed - up 0.8 lb. Hi, My tabouli salad is all made for the week. I love the mini cucumbers that have been around lately. I can't remember if I posted that I made the WW recipe for chickpea waffles last week. I have some extra parsley left to mix in, and I'm going to add some za'atar seasoning as well to give it a flavor boost. (I already added some coriander to it last week.
Yesterday was the start of soccer season. I had one more beer than my planned allotment to celebrate a very exciting win. I also had planned pizza from Blaze-they had a $5 deal going. I may need to delete that app, though this is the first time I've been there since Pi day, when they had a $3.14 deal.
I do really love my own homemade pizza, which is on the plan for later this week.
I've been good about getting activity in, despite the heat.
Still working my way slowly through the Beck review. I am dealing w some cravings lately, and need to get those foods addressed on my upcoming meal plan. Defer, don't deny. Eating and tracking my planned for meals slowly, mindfully, seated. Reading and thinking about my ARC and ST/HR cards. Need to check in w my coach today.

We had friends over for dinner. I had made some healthy dip (white bean) and I stuck to vegetables with it. I also started dinner off with a big salad. But I had some ice cream for dessert. I had made it so I wanted to try it. I didn't try the sorbets I had made for the vegans and lactose-intolerant. There is stuff left over which I will need to make sure is consumed slowly.
Lugged stuff up the stairs yesterday to set up on the patio. That was my exercise! Taking everything back down today but I will be also doing planned exercise.
I was too tired last night to log the food or use the habit tracker but I read cards.

Yesterday was a big activity day; tracked 10 miles. Played pickle ball for hours and did a ton of cleaning. Eating was a mixed bag. Not horrible but could have done better. That will be today.

Here.
In the middle of a rally. Journaling, meal planning, setting intentions for the day.
I am starting the week fairly sleep deprived as I was up pretty late repairing my Bike (I resolved to have it finally fixed) and it took a lot of effort and WD40 to change one stupid crank arm.
Now I can finally do more than just floor exercises again.
My close friends are also working to improve their health so we've been exchanging meal plans over the weekend.

I exercised yesterday but didn't stick to plan. I did well with the actual amount of eating but I ate a lot of sugar. My friend invited me over for tea. I had some berry crumble in her house and then she sent some home for my dad and SO. They ate about 3/4 of it and there was so little left that I finished it along with some chocolate that was lying around - brought by another friend on Saturday.
Back to normal today. No entertaining for a while. I logged both Saturday's and Sunday's food.

Had a good Monday. Last night the neighbors invited us for homemade peach bread pudding and ice cream on the front porch. My first thought was to just not go but that wasn't right. So, I went, and said "no thanks" and of course was not pressured. I was thinking "I do not eat unplanned food" and I didn't. We had an enjoyable hour just sitting and chatting...

Not a great day. Exercised but I ended up eating a lot of sugar. that has to stop. This is why I quit eating sugar - it snowballs for me. However, when I was away with family, I did eat some and that has triggered the current battles. I need to get my head in the no-sugar game again.
I'm really struggling to get myself to focus on all that went right yesterday instead of the eating sweet things part.

I read cards and really focused yesterday. I didn't end up exercising due to knee (knew I needed to rest it) and being busy. But otherwise it was a normal day. Stuck to my plan.

Yesterday was a better day than Tuesday. Had a plan, stuck to it even going out to lunch with sisters. Scale is stable. I'm checking in here...
Tomorrow we are going to meet our new granddaughter. I am excited to see her (and my DD/SIL). I have been thinking about the travel portion "hunger is not an emergency" and not just eating the airplane snacks because they are offered and I'm bored. My DD and SIL eat very healthy food and we probably won't go out because of the baby. My plan is to have a plan even though I'm not in control of when/what we eat. I can still control what eat.

Yesterday was a good day during the day. Not so good at night. Today we meet my siblings so that my father can go back with my brother for a few months. We'll be eating lunch out but I will eat a very light dinner as a result. I'm going to try and get in an exercise session but it will depend on how much energy I have when I come home. We generally do quite a bit of shopping when we do this because there are some stores near there that have stuff we can't get locally.
