Yesterday was just not a great day. My dad stressed me out - made me very angry. As a result I was up at night and ate badly. I also didn't end up being able to exercise due to having to do a lot of other things and my knee was bothering me. So instead of squeezing it in, I decided to take a rest day.
I have to stop running till this knee settles down. The pain moves around the knee so I'm not always sure what is causing it. Now it is no longer on the sides of the knee but below where it attaches to the calf muscles. I've been stretching those after every run but they are still tight. I did some foam rolling on them on Sunday and that might be why everything was sore yesterday.

Here, I had a good day yesterday to start the month. Today I finally got around to making the WW recipe for chickpea waffles to go with my tabouli salad-it was quite tasty though requires some Cyn-tweaking to bump up some flavor. I got good activity in yesterday, trying to start putting more effort into my fitness to tighten up some fluffiness. Stuck w my meal plan.

I need to really focus on reading cards. The stress situation has completely divorced me from reading card except before lunch and at night. However, the good news is that after my meditation this am, the stress has gone. I am going to go easy on my knee for a while so I'm just going to walk today and see if I can get through the weights tomorrow and try yoga on Friday. My hand seems to be able to bear my weight better now and the surgeon says I should put weight on it and just back off a bit if it hurts and then try again.

I've been sticking with it well enough to reinforce good habits. Had a one-week streak of no snacking but since then things have come up so I/we have had dinner after 8 a few times. Feels like nighttime eating but still OP.

Had a normal day yesterday. I walked for 30 mins and foam rolled gently around the knees. I ate lightly all day. I was exhausted and went to bed early. Feeling better today but still tired. However, I have appointments this afternoon and will be doing some weight work this am.

DH got his hair cut yesterday. Stylist running late, he found a gluten free bakery in the neighborhood while he was waiting, and brought home a bit of a cinnamon roll and cookie. They were small portions and he was raving about them, so I ate 'em. They were very good indeed. He was proud of himself that he didn't eat them all. Dude, don't do me any "favors" like that.

lani, I have to admit that I need to stop myself from doing SO favors like that. I am the one more out and about and the person who wants to try a new-to-me ‘thing’. He’s happy buying ice cream and cookies from the grocery store. Fortunately, I don’t usually crave those but when I buy something from a new-to-me store, I want to try it. So I have to stop myself and say I’m not doing him any favors. He doesn’t need any of this either.
