Had a good day yesterday; tolerated a LOT of hunger. Eventually I just went to bed (early). I slept well except for getting up twice (I drank a TON of water to remove post-travel bloat). WI was down 0.2#. I'll take it--headed in the right direction...

beherenow, good luck with the colonoscopy! jonik, glad you had a good visit I had a bad day yesterday but it was mostly the afternoon and evening. I ate my feelings. beherenow, may your colonoscopy be routine. I was supposed to have one today (I'm on the 3 year plan - UC), but had to reschedule to May 9 due to stupid covid. They want 21 days after diagnosis (I think that's what they said). I always go for the earliest appointment also. Monday credits: Weighed - down 0.4 lb. Hi, Had a good day. I am just.so.hungry but tolerating it and riding the wave. Lots of water and keeping busy helps. I have done well getting my planned exercise in and decent sleep.
I need to constantly work on sitting while I eat. I popped a couple of my shrimp for my salad on my mouth while making the salad. One credit I noticed over the weekend. I eat much slower than I used to; I was the last one done at the table when I was at my DD's home.

I had another good day. Still just.so.hungry. I tolerated it and resisted lots of temptations... Did you know today is peach cobbler day? And when you work in a nursing home it is served warm with ice cream. "No thanks" I have been pretty stressed (and I'm sure crabby) but resisted the open bottle of wine in the refrigerator. Instead I went downstairs and did some cleaning and organizing. The bonus to the credit? Things in the basement got cleaned and organized

jonik, have you tried adding some bulky foods to your meal when you feel hungry? I find that drinking liquids and eating lots of fresh leafy greens helps fill me up. It doesn't keep me filled up for long but paired with protein and some carbs, it helps to keep me from getting hungry. Had friends over, takeout pizza, 2-1/2 bottles of wine, apple pie and ice cream, chocolate candy. Whoa Nellie! Sometimes splurges happen. I anticipate some major short-term gains.

Happy Sunday evening all, Had a pretty good weekend. I made some good choices and completed 100% of my planned exercise for the week. Meals are planned for the week and the food is in the house.
I cleaned out my closet today; got "real" about some clothes I haven't been wearing and came to the conclusion that 5# would make a big difference. It was a good reminder and motivator!

Apr 16 credits: I was tired but decided to alter my exercise program so I could exercise; what I had planned required too much energy. I've decided that I can only do strength training 2x a week, not 3x. Between running 2x a week and doing the intensive flexibility program I'm doing, it is just too much to do 3x. Weighed myself this morning; I was NOT up from the weekend! Today was good; I kept with the plan. I am OK being hungry; calorie deficit does that! ermabom, I keep my meals pretty bulky. Todays salad included spinach, tomatoes, cabbage, olive oil, nuts, flax seed, and protein. I had carrots on the side and an apple or dessert. Still hungry before supper. When I am in the Beck zone I can handle it

I keep stringing good days together. I know I have to tolerate hunger for weight loss and official WI was down 1.6#. Back into the 130's which makes me happy.
I keeping the mantra in my head and chugging along...

Had a good day today. Topped off my day by cleaning floors then did some bonus yard work. Lots of steps and a decent food day. I declined DH's offer of wine for supper and now I'm ignoring him eat ice cream...
