fitin14 , oh yeah, I couldn't sleep without Ambien - re: prednisone. My BFF has Crohn's and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for decades. I also had a multitude of tests before the correct diagnosis. Best of health to you. (My friend has been doing well as far as Crohn's for many years, but it was very severe at times.) BTW, I'm going in for my every-three-years scope next week. Tuesday credits: Weighed - up 0.2 lb. Going out for lunch, and as I will be restricting various items after today until the colonoscopy, (not to mention the clear liquids day right before), I'm not fussed about what I'm going to eat today. I am doing better with the low cal snacks being around. I wish it was summer when more fruit is in season as vegetables have to be cooked for now with my digestion.

I have a colonoscopy Tuesday so I am on "low residue" diet 5 days prior and then clear liquids the day before the procedure. So I'm not too fussed about calorie count today.

I just had an awareness as I was looking at my cards under Day 8 Create Time and Energy. I thought of how taking time to write down my credits, track my food, and coming here to post is very important. Not just the planning food, buying food, prepping food. I need to make time for all of this if I want to be successful. I forget so easily.

No need for a plan for today. I'm doing the clear liquids day of the colonoscopy prep today. I do everything earlier than the instructions so as to be done before bedtime and thus get a good night's sleep. I always take the first appointment in the morning. If I followed the prep instructions to the letter I would be getting up at 3:30AM to take the final dose. Who thinks this shit up? I will trade sleep for some extra hours of not eating. Rant over.

It was my clear liquids day pre-colonoscopy so I did not bother to track. I had jello, beef and chicken broth, apple juice and coconut water. And plain water. I never really got hungry, and I'm not hungry this morning either.

I need to make time for all of this if I want to be successful. I forget so easily. I'm guilty of the same... The weekend wasn't terrible. We always eat out but Sunday is on-plan. My sister asked us to supper Sunday; told her it had to be Saturday and she was good with that. Meals are planned for the week and the food is in the house. No excuses! I have been exceeding my steps and exercise and doing a lot of yard work. I had the same ST as ermabom about thinking I earned more food but I was too tired and sore to get up to get it!!

Weighed - down 0.4 lb. You'd think it would be more after clear liquids day. But I did drinks enough fluids to float a boat. Strength & flexibility exercises Didn't bother to track the liquids. There was jello in there too.
Did my prep. Done by 9:00PM and was able to get a good night's sleep.

I'm plugging along. Tolerating hunger has gotten easier; I acknowledge it and move on. Today is sister day including a long walk and lunch. I'll probably skip supper or eat only a snack-like meal. I have a lot of yard and other chores I want to do around here. It keeps me moving so that's good. I have also been good about sitting while eating

Hi friends, Weighed myself today-.1 over into a decade I was really hoping to avoid. Ugh. I have to face that I have rolled up from 5 to 10 to 15lbs to lose to get back down to goal. I have a bridal shower on the 20th, and am now sweating whether I'll be able to breath in the backup to the backup outfit.
Ugh, I need to remember I look so much better in smaller clothes than I do in pretzals dipped in processed cheese spread from a tub.
Controlling my food intake is the most important thing right now, so that I can lose this weight again.
Ok, credits: I met all my benchmarks and goals for my PT, so no more sessions. I will continue to do the breath work and exercises she gave me for another few months-they're core strengthening so I should be doing them anyway. I've been given the green light to do some strength training, slowly, and monitor how things feel as I go. I tracked my weight, even tho I didn't make it down to WW. I tracked my meals today, and have 10 points remaining. I am mindful that I do not need to eat all my points every day when I am consuming a variety of 0 point foods. I have my meal planner pad set up with a list of options for the week. I went to TJs and stuck to only items on my list. I am skipping Aldi this week, to avoid temptation. I walked the long way home.
