May 11 credits: Not a good day - I don't do well when I'm tired and can't stay busy. Yesterday it was my hands. They've been sore since I did a lot of yard work this week with only 1 day in between, It was all hard work and my hands are complaining. I was also tired so I slept in the pm and then couldn't sleep at night for a long time. I did distract myself quite a bit but again was limited due to the pain in my forearms. le sigh. Today will be better because I'm going to be conscious of this. ermabom , thanks. I always have a bit of "active colitis" - just in a short section of the colon. I have not experienced any symptoms for ages so doc agrees it's not a problem. Labs come back in 10 days but I do not anticipate any bad news. No polyps, a first for me. Sorry if TMI. I am always interested in anything medical and assume others are too. Sorry you are in pain. May 12 credits: Another bad night but I'm surprisingly not tired this am except that my eyes are tired. Right arm is still sore but better. I'm debating if I should do strength training today along with stretching.

May 13 credits: I couldn't sleep till about 2 am this morning. I resisted a lot of STs but eventually succumbed to snacking. I did get a bunch of things done while resisting STs

May 14 credits: Another sleepless night. But interestingly, I'm not exhausted today and my eyes aren't that tired. I'm wondering if I'm going through another phase where I need less sleep. Kind of like my body temp tolerance changed during peri-menopause. I suddenly went from feeling cold all the time to feeling hot more than feeling cold.
I just have to have a list of things to do at night besides read and watch videos because those make me want to snack.

Hi, Random credits from the past few days: Made a batch of HBE, tabouli salad, and some spinach pie filling from a WW app recipe that I filled and baked in mini-peppers vs wonton cups. Tracked everything since last Thursday. Went for a long walk today vs eating the Halo Top after a mini emo meltdown. Stuck to today's meal plan. Enjoying the meals I've been making for myself lately. Moving with intention.

I'm still here. I haven't posted for almost a week but I think about it!
I had a busy week of yard work and deep cleaning so gave myself a break on some routine exercise. My Oura ring was telling me to back off a bit so I counted the chores as exercise (which in a lot of ways is much harder that what I normally do).
Official WI today is stable; I was up a bit last week but back down so calling it stable. I'm in the decade I want to be in (goal is low end but I'm in the upper end).
I have a lot going on in my head; house projects, company coming, summer schedule, etc. Nothing bad but it reminds me I need quiet time.
I was listing to a podcast (Gretchen Rubin) and the "know yourself better" discussion was about if the stakes are high or low regarding how much "effort" to put in things. I decided the "stakes are high" regarding following Beck. I don't want to gain weight, I don't want to buy new clothes, I don't want to feel "bad" about my choices, I want to be healthy". When I have a decision to make regarding food, I tell myself "the stakes are high" as a reminder...

I feel like a hamster in a wheel with all the not-normally-scheduled stuff lately. Going for a facelift on 7/13 (I'm sooo vain), and you would not believe all the preliminary tests these guys want. Also flying to Mpls on 5/24. for SIL's funeral in Gayeville SD. Be there 4 days; at least I can see my brother. I am normally firmly in my routine-rut (which I love) so my head is spinning lately. DH has booked another cruise sailing on 10/22, at least that's farther out in the future.

Well, it appears as though when one plans heathily, eats mindfully, tracks diligently, and moves one's ass daily, one loses some weight. At least out of the ugly decade. Still an eyelash away from an emo pint of Cherry Garcia, so I am treading lightly. Gotta make my new meal plan list for the week.

Cyn, the cruise is down the Calif. coast from San Francisco as far as Ensenda, and back again. We mainly just want to hang with another couple. And no one wants to fly so sticking only to cruises that are round trip from San Francisco. The last 15 day one (in March) was round trip SF to Hawaii. Wednesday credits: Weighed - up 0.2 lb. I had a dr. appt. that morning, and the clothed, shod and fed weight was 4.9 lbs. more than the morning's naked and unfed weight. I always find the differences interesting. I had on heavy-ish shoes. They do always ask now if you are OK with being weighed. ermabom, beautiful sweater! Back here. Daily WI down 1.6 Meditated Read posts and posting Giving myself credit Waited for my meal without snacking even though VERY hungry. Not an emergency. Rode bike I am reminded of how important it is for me to come here to post and to read my cards daily. It was extremely hot with record temperatures last weekend for 3 days and we went out for Mexican food on Monday. Been challenged since then to get back on track. I'm here today. I really need to lose weight. It's such a battle. I've gotten older of course and I've shrunk. Trying not to be disappointed in my lack of WL results the last 2.5 weeks. Just have to do this one day at a time ODAT. I lose weight extremely slowly. My big credit is that I haven't gained weight in a year. I am extremely grateful that I don't emotionally eat these days except on rare occasions thanks to The Diet Trap Solution.
