jonik , best wishes for test results! Monday credits: Weighed - down 1.4 lbs. Yep, water weight. Tuesday credits: Weighed - down 0.8 lb. Otherwise same as Monday, except ended day 100 calories under plan, and could only really plan b'fast and lunch for today. Folks coming over for pizza, wine and baked goods tonight.

Thanks lani. I will say the Beck principles have been game-changing the past several weeks. It reminded me of the example in her book; I think it was her son (?) who was diagnosed with something that resulted in a radical change in eating and he just did it. I swear if I was not tuned into CBT I would not have been able to not only pump the breaks but SLAM on them, make a complete stop at what I was doing and change direction. I am not depressed or angry about it, just doing it. Oh, and down about 6#

jonik, I so agree. CBT has helped me in other areas besides weight management. And I might not have come to it without seeing it in Beck first. Mr. Lani did CBT with an actual therapist for some time. It was very helpful for him. Personally, I need a consistent meditation practice as well.

We had folks over Wed. night - pizza, couple bottles wine, baked goods. When I toted up the cals I came up with approx. 1030 for that meal alone. However, skipped lunch so I came out 155 over my usual daily calorie plan.
Thursday credits: Same except up 0.8 lb. Meditated Ended day 310 calories below plan

Can I hop back in? I’ve been away for some months, but realized that I do need the accountability and I also need to read my cards. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for weeks, and it’s not a horrible one, but I look in the mirror and do not like what I see. So I need to work on the next five pounds.
And I’m going to check in with my coach right after I finish here.

Hi, Starting a new tracking streak, I got distracted and didn't even notice last Wed hadn't been tracked. I put my Beck cards out on my coffee table. Even tho they were in a basket just underneath the tabletop easily to hand, I haven't been reading them. Been in touch w my coach. Got out for a good walkabout yesterday. Getting ready to do some batch cooking shortly.

Jun 24 credits - was at my nephew's wedding and had to leave early to get there Gave myself credit - I was very careful in when and what I ate and didn't over-do it. I ate only fruit in the first break, skipped the second, and had a light dinner with cake and ice cream Square danced a bit plus got a lot of steps so exercised Stuck to plan

lani, exactly. It was fun hanging out with my family but the lack of sleep, the driving and having to be social for long periods of time take their toll. It was also very hot and muggy and no matter how much I drank, I did get dehydrated which probably also tired me out. This is also the 4th weekend in a row where I’ve had to go somewhere and do something. It all adds up. I am really better off being a hermit these days I think. But the events are all over and I can get back into my routine instead of being perpetually exhausted.

lani, thanks! it is part of my accountability I am not well. My head is heavy and I have a headache. I did a covid test yesterday but it was negative. I think it is either a sinus infection or allergies. I am going to use a Neti pot today and see if it helps. No fever - just aches and a head that I don't want to hold up. Jun 29 credits None
